Unless otherwise stated, all events are held at the Fintry Retreat House (directions).
In contemporary life we seem to be experiencing a crisis in values. There sometimes appears to be a
reluctance to teach values or to assert authority. Are there universal and timeless values? We will
look at the wisdom traditions in exploring these ideas.
Cost: £110
A 2-day Reading the Mystics course. The new spiritual enlightenment that arose in the
6th century B.C. entailed a recognition of an unseen world of unchanging reality behind the world of
appearances. Those who saw this truth sought to escape from the weary wheel of earthly existence by
renouncing its allurements, and living as strangers and pilgrims on earth. We will consider the
pilgrim’s path as it has been through the years: its symbolism, its requirements and the goal.
Led by J Parker; At Fintry
